Terms and conditions
Your travel has been booked by 1 Life Travels, on the basis of the following terms and conditions. The ticket(s) (“voucher(s)”) have been booked by 1 Life Travels on your behalf with various third party service providers. You understand that 1 Life Travels is an intermediary Travel Agency and not the service provider, acting as a middle man between yourself (yourselves) the customer and the third party service provider(s). 1 Life Travels receives a commission from the third party service provider that your services are operated by. 1 Life Travels use a third-party wholesale platform to make your bookings with various suppliers. All prices on the platform are set by the suppliers. Each supplier is within there right to change there prices at any time. Prices are subject to change until you pay for the travel in full. We will take no responsibility or be held liable for any price fluctuations.
ENSURING THE BOOKING IS CORRECT:
At the bottom of the sheet underneath where you will sign if in agreement with the terms and conditions will be your booking reference number. This highlights to us the booking(s) that you will be held responsible for by these terms and conditions. By signing this document you agree that the products paid for, dates and information you have provided us is correct. If unsure please ask your booking agent to show the details of the booking or check the booking conformation email with your quote on there.
1. DEPOSITS AND PARTIAL PAYMENTS :
All deposits and partial payments are non-refundable if you are unable to and/or chose not to proceed with your booking. These are non-transferable if you are unable to and / or chose not to proceed with your booking. The card fee and/or payment link fee that would have been added on top of your deposit / partial payment is non-refundable.
2. BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS FOR TICKETS WITH BOOKED DATES:
Every third-party service provider has their own requirements for reconfirming a booking. It is your responsibility to reconfirm the booking directly to the supplier as per their guidance and instructions. If booking confirmation is needed it will be stated on your voucher
3. BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS FOR TICKETS WITH OPEN DATES:
It is your responsibility to book your date of travel with each individual service provider as per the instructions on your booking voucher(s). Contact details for each individual supplier can be found on your voucher(s). Having an open dated ticket does not guarantee availability on your preferred date. It is your responsibility to book in advance. Open dated tickets are subject to supplier price fluctuations which could incur. If the day you chose to travel is a bank holiday your supplier is within their right to charge a fee.
4. DATE CHANGES:
For any date changes you will need to contact either your booking agent, 1 life Travels Head Office or the supplier. Each third-party service provider has there own terms and conditions that will state whether you are allowed to change the dates. Please be aware that there may be a fee to do so from the third party service provider. All accommodation, tours and transport are subject to price fluctuations therefore you may be required to pay a fare difference to the supplier as per there terms and conditions. Similarly if changing your date of travel to a bank holiday the suppliers may charge a fee.
5. TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We strongly advise but do not require that all customers follow the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to take out travel insurance. It is your responsibility to purchase travel insurance.
6. SERVICE PROVIDED BY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
1 Life Travels set out to package tours that satisfy your needs and wants as a customer. We set out to experience all the trips we sell to give us the best idea of how your experience will be with the third party service provider. However we do not take any responsibility for any issues that emerge during your travel with the third party service provider(s). We highly value your feedback to ensure we are using correct judgment when packaging tours. Nevertheless by law we will not be held responsible for any damage, expenses, injury or loss no matter the cause. The responsibility lies with each individual third party service provider and you agree that you will not hold us liable no matter the circumstance.
7. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
All cancellation requests must be in writing and sent via email to office@1lifetravelsau.com
It is important to know that for each individual tour, transport or accommodation you are agreeing to both 1 Life Travels and the individual third-party suppliers policies. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of the service provider(s) terms and conditions.
Please be aware that 100% of card fees, payment link fees and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you decide to cancel a tour, activity, transport or accommodation a 50% cancellation fee will be applied. However as stated before you are agreeing to the individual third-party service providers terms and conditions as well. Therefore you are agreeing to the possibility that your cancellation fee(s) could be up to 100%.
Cancellation fees are applicable when a tour is able to go ahead. It is important to be aware that if you are unable to make a trip but the trip goes ahead you are liable for any cancellations. An example of this but not limiting it to is being unwell, your flight being delayed or your bus being cancelled. For this reason we strongly advise you follow the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affair and Trade to take out travel insurance.
In the event that there is a government announced pandemic, travel restriction, epidemic or natural disaster the 1 Life Travels cancellation fee will be reduced to a 25% fee. The 25% is used to cover any
administration costs. Please be aware this is 1 Life Travels terms and conditions and this may not be applicable with the individual third-party service providers terms and conditions potentially leaving you liable to their fees.
If the individual third-party service provider(s) is to cancel your tour then you will receive 100% of the money paid towards that individual tour through 1 Life Travels once approved by the supplier. Our 100% refund is subject to a fully refundable amount from the third-party service provider who cancelled your trip. If any supplier charges were paid directly to the supplier it is their responsibility to decide what happens with that money and to get it back to you. We are only able to refund money / payments processed through 1 Life Travels.
All refunds must be placed back onto the same valid Mastercard or Visa card that you used to pay for your booking. Refunds can take time to process. Whilst we will take action immediately, dependent on the scenario it can take at most up to 60 days.
8. VACCINATION, IMMIGRATION, VISAS AND PASSPORTS
It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you are eligible to enter and stay in a country. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of the rules and regulations regarding vaccines, immigration, visas and passports for your intended travel destinations. We will not be liable for any cancellations , delays or costs coming from a problem entering or staying in a country for any vaccination, immigration, visas and passport issues.
9. ADDITIONAL COSTS
Additional costs that may not be included in the price of the tour are very common some examples of this but not limiting it to are national park fees, food, luggage storage. Whilst we typically are aware of the majority of extra costs and will do our best to make you aware of these it is important to be aware that these are subject to change at the discretion of the third-party service provider. It is solely your responsibility to be aware of any extra costs that may incur.
10. MEDICAL CONDITIONS:
It is important to be aware that each third-party service provider may have rules preventing individuals with certain medical conditions from taking part in activities or joining tours. It is your responsibility to ensure you have made us aware of any medical conditions. If you are refused for any activity or tour our 50% cancellation fee still applies. In addition to any fees the supplier may charge meaning you may be charged up to a 100% cancellation fee.
